He Told Everyone I Planned Our Wedding Behind His Back
He was blood guilty for murdering my hopes and my dreams. He was filthy with dishonor and reproach and delusions were all I was ever in love with.
We all know Narcissists lie pathologically about everything in their life. We have come to expect it from them. Yet while we are never surprised by the energy they invest in their deception, some of their lies are appalling. No matter how long we have been putting up with their abuse, the narcissist can always catch us off guard with how shameless they can be.
My abuser spun intricate lies and weaved elaborate tall tales. If his mouth was moving it was a one hundred percent guarantee he was lying about something. He was an expert at his craft. He knew exactly how to introduce just the right amount of truth into his fabrications to keep me slightly off guard and confused.
He had a lie for every occasion.
He was also very diverse in his lying skills. He had detailed lies he could recite so convincingly it was downright creepy. He had the “I don’t give a fuck if you believe me” type of lies. The lies where he said he was going to a “friend's” house but was going to the crack house. There was no group of friends he hung with and he knew I knew that.
