I Don’t Care if The Public Hates Amber Heard.

Many people cannot psychologically handle a female abuser so they seek ways to rationalize her behavior.

I swore I was not going to write about the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial. Despite the fact that I meticulously and obsessively listened to all the testimony and all the audio in this case, I still resisted writing about it.

I’ve read some articles here on Medium where writers are using this case to push political and social narratives and that moved me to finally weigh in.

I have never fawned over celebrities and when this case first began I paid little to no attention to it.

Until I heard the audio Amber had recorded.

“I did not punch you. I’m sorry I did not hit you across the face in a proper slap but I was hitting you, not punching you. Babe, you’re not punched!!

“Don’t tell me what it feels like to be punched!”

“You didn’t get punched. You got hit. I’m sorry I hit you like this but I did not punch you! I did not fucking deck you! I fucking was hitting you!
