I understand the insanity of an addict and a sociopath..I was married for 13 years to a non recovered alcoholic..he was tragically killed crossing a busy street while intoxicated..then I ended up with a diagnosed sociopath for three years of hell...I don’t know if my husband was a narcissist or just an addict.. he was raised by a maternal narcissist... but I know what you’re going through. You’ll stop being pulled into her disfunction and abuse when you’re ready..I finally stopped putting my hand on the hot stove when I wanted better for myself..you just kinda wake up one day and you’re done. My best friend always told me "you’ll know when you know" simple but very true.
