Oh wow!!! I relate to this sooo much!!!! I am a baker too..pantries..my pies are well known in my community..my abuser was perfectly happy when I baked for him but when I was going to enter a pie competition at our local fair he made sure I didn't meet the deadline to enter..He couldn't stand it when I was praised. I'm so glad you're away from that boorish jerk!! They are monstrous individuals
