Thank you so much for writing this!!! My husband was Polish... he passed in 2017.. Where I am from we have a huge Polish community and when the ladies in my salon learned I was marrying a Polish man they gave me history books on Poland..I learned sooo much and I am grateful that I can teach my children their history..there are so many ridiculous stereotypes about Slavic people it’s really gross. Americans really do live in a bubble comfortable in their ignorance.
