The Narcissist Never Suffers
Never believe a narcissist is lonely and sad
Do you remember the sob story the narcissist told you when you first met? They no doubt pretended to be someone who had been through many trials and tribulations but was finally ready to conquer life with a great person like you beside them. Or when you left them they pleaded with you to stay because they wouldn’t be able to bear the loneliness?
You know by now that all of that is utter bullshit. They are not trying to rise above life's adversity and they are not missing you in the way you think. They say they are suffering but it's all a lie. They don’t feel awful about anyting.
Narcissists and Negative Emotions.
Narcissists feel emotional pain, but not in the same way you and I do. The emotional pain they may feel is usually related to their self-seeking and greedy needs.
Narcissists are emotionally stunted. They can feel deeply unhappy when their pride is bruised and when denied narcissistic supply but are incapable of empathy deep enough to realize the pain that they cause to others.
Even when it appears that life has finally turned around to bite them, they twist it around and make you responsible for their downfall. Then they get the new supply they’ve carefully…
