We are all human and we all make mistakes. Getting a narcissist to admit they are ever wrong, however, can be almost impossible. Why is it so difficult for them to acknowledge that they make mistakes too?
If you have been in a relationship with a narcissist you know that even when you catch them redhanded in a lie, they always seem to have an answer. They’ll start twisting the facts to fit their narrative, then claim those twisted facts prove they were right all along.

The narcissist only appears to care about you when you are fulfilling their needs or serving a purpose for them.
The Narcissist Doesn’t Care About Happiness.
The world of the narcissist is quite black and white. Either you are all good or all bad and nothing in between. They are superior and you are inferior.
The narcissist needs to be on top of the hierarchy that they have created in the family and their relationships. On top is the only place they feel safe. Narcissists have to be the best, and the most competent. Everything must be done their way. They must own everything and control everyone.
