Victim or Villian?

It sounds completely absurd to think that a narcissist could believe they are a victim, yet this is a hallmark of NPD. You may be confused by this when your narcissistic partner projects their bad behavior onto you and tells you that you have hurt them and that is why they screamed at you or hit you.

How could they actually believe they are a victim after such egregious behavior?
