We are NOT mirror images of our partners, particularly if we are in an abusive relationship. Abuse is NEVER a two way street. The narcissists and sociopath actually mirror their victims during the love bombing to fake empathy and act like an actual human. I was with a diagnosed sociopath and there is no way his evil behavior was a reflection of something within me. We were polar opposites. Evil vs Good. I find that the only people that make excuses for psychopaths and narcissists are actually narcs themselves. You want to make excuses for your own sociopathy and say things like "We all have these traits" NOT TRUE!!!
