Why The Narcissist Hates Going in Public With You. Hint: It’s Not About You

Narcissists have an insatiable need to win. For them, it is a matter of survival to keep the thrills coming. They are perpetually bored creatures. One person is never enough for them to get all the validation they crave. They will usually have a primary supply but there will be always multiple secondary supplies around.

To do this, many narcissists will present themselves as single out in public.

They may not be having a physical relationship with more than one, but you can be assured that they are never being emotionally faithful. They’re lying to everyone. They’re legends in their own minds as they play the part of a leading man/woman in their own movie.

They play different mind games with each supply. For all the various women my abuser had collected in his phone he was living a very distinctive pretend life with each one.

The first time I caught him doing this he had come home very late from picking up take-out at a local Mexican restaurant. I asked him what took so long and he said the food wasn't done yet so he'd waited at the bar.
